Hillsong United

Overview and History

Hillsong United is a Christian band. There was a church called Hillsong in Sydney, Austrailia with a lively youth group. After 1997, The youth ministry started having monthly meetings called United nights. Darlene Zschech, the youth leader at the time, got the youthgroup to release their first album called One.TheAlbum was realy successful and earned a gold status . From that point forward, They released a new album every year under the name Hillsong United .

Hillsong United still plays for their church during sunday services. They have won five dove awards, two nominations for American Music Award, and a Billboard Music Award. Click Here to go to the official website of Hillsong United.
